BRAND CONTENT / EDITING / LANGUAGES
Tara has collaborated with companies like Patagonia and Alpacka Raft on brand content, written for publications including Alpinist and Whitefish Review, and edited copy for artists, caterers, and nonprofits. She also works as a freelance translator, teaches English language classes, and speaks French and Spanish. She studies verb conjugations and makes handmade notebooks in her free time because, well, she loves how language opens worlds.
ADVENTURE & CONSERVATION
Tara is always scheming adventures. They usually involve packrafting or trail running or fishing but sometimes just cooking on a fire or walking up a hillside. She’s fascinated by overlooked stretches of the map: long quiet rivers without designated protection, ranchland where moose hide in the willows, the polar ice sheets. These pockets of land, water, and ice, whether down the street or a continent away, have had the most impact on who she is today. Tara shares these places in her work, writing, and relationships and values their continued protection.
